Three players are missing for Groningen this weekend. Maxim Mariani, Sven Bouland and Fofin Turay are on the sidelines dealing with respective injuries.
Following their humbling 4–1 loss to Feyenoord earlier in the week, head coach Dick Lukkien could make a number of changes, with centre-back Marvin Peersman, forward Mats Seuntjens and centre-forward Brynjólfur Andersen Willumsson among those pushing for a start.
