St Mirren boss Stephen Robinson made one change to the Saints side that lost 2-0 to Dundee at Dens Park, before they left it late to beat Ross County 3-2 the weekend before last to secure a spot in the top six of the Scottish Premiership.
Zach Hemming continued in goal behind an unchanged back three of Richard Taylor, Alex Gogic and Marcus Fraser. Declan John started at left wing-back, as Ryan Alebiosu remained at right wing-back.
Club captain Mark O'Hara, Caolan Boyd-Munce and Killian Phillips were chosen in the middle of the park, to make up the midfield quintet. Saints' only alteration saw Toyosi Olusanya, who has since departed the club, accompany Jonah Ayunga in attack at Roland Idowu's expense.
Rangers
