  • Prediction

It's been a disappointing summer up to now for Wolves and it's hard to know where the goals are going to come from this season following Matheus Cunha's exit.

To make matters worse, the Midlands have lost their last four opening-day games, although their last two were trips to Manchester United and Arsenal.

Manchester City will be desperate to make a strong start to the season following their failed title challenge last term, and have an extraordinary recent record in August.

Pep Guardiola's side have won 12 of their last 13 games in the first month of the campaign with their last defeat coming at Tottenham way back in 2021.

City won their 2-1 on their last trip to Molineux last October thanks to a highly controversial John Stones winner deep into stoppage-time.
