Moved to Florida at age 12 and trained at various academies (Evert, Saviano, IMG) Returned to Switzerland for 2 years before playing college tennis at University of Virginia from 2014-17 Helped Cavaliers win 3 straight NCAA team titles from 2015-17 Set school record fordoubles win percentage in a single season.
