West Ham made the worst possible start to the campaign after they were swept aside by Sunderland on the opening-day to ramp up the early pressure on Graham Potter.

The Hammers boss has won just five of from his 19 Premier League games in charge of the club and desperately needs a response from his team following their opening-day nightmare.

Chelsea also endured an underwhelming start after they were unable to find a way past Crystal Palace despite a dominant performance in the Stamford Bridge stalemate.

The Blues have a poor record against West Ham at the London Stadium, winning just three of their 10 meetings (D2 L5), but were successful on their last trip back in September 2024.
